working from home while on maternity leave?

I've done a few surveys in my time...... great to earn some vouchers, but does take quite a long time to build up. And as someone has already said, it can be quite frustrating when you've spent time answering a survey, to be told that you don't fit their criteria.... then end up with nothing!
I also did loads of mystery shopping when I had my first child. Some of it was fun and I liked getting free meals, but I think after doing it for a while, it does get a bit boring. Worth a try though and there are quite a few different sites. Not a massive moneymaker though.
Focus groups are quite good money if you can find any locally. I'm signed up with focus4people, but don't often find one that local to me.
I work from home selling childrens' books which is flexible and fits perfectly around my children.0 -
Hi,
I'm sorry to hijack your post, but i'm coming to the end of my paid maternity leave at the moment and am having an extra 2 unpaid months off.
So i was wondering would anything be effected if i was to start a party plan business now i'm not being paid but still off work?
It's really doing my head is as i can't see it effecting anything as i've no money coming in but you never know with companies nowadays!:think:0
