Advice please COC and arrears

Hi I was wondering if someone could help as im unsure of procedure, Im the PWC waiting for a COC to be applied to my case, change was notified on the 20th of Jan by myself and I have been told that this will be completed on the May 4th!
My case has merged on to CS2 so Im on phasing but there is a significant amount of arrears on the case and the amount seems to be getting higher not lower, Nrp has changed jobs several times in the last 12 months. What i was wondering is there anything that can be done about collecting the arrears whilst they are doing the COC or do I have to wait till the new assesment has been made? NRP is/was on a DEO as he is non-compliant.
Not once has CSA applied for a LO would this be a possiblity?

What is the change of circumstances that has taken place? If he is still at the same employer then the current assessment and DEO should still be active in the meantime.
The CSA only tend to go down the legal enforcement route if all arrears wouldn't be cleared via a DEO within 2 years.
One thing to note though is not to listen to them saying that it'll be done by May 4th...from my experience you're more likely to have further action taken place if you call again. Ask them what the hold up is, if the change of circs is that he's either started a new job or had a pay rise, or something like that then they should be calling him/sending him a letter, giving him 7 days to respond, and then going direct to his employer.0 -
Hi, no NRP has changed jobs the last DEO he had I worked out it would take 7 years for him to pay off the arrears can they do this?
I phone them every week and they tell me the same thing "THAT THEY ARE STILL GATHERING INFORMATION" and to wait till the 12 weeks is up, Im the one that gave them his employer address everything surely it cant take that long?
If they do eventually do the assessment and again the timescale to pay off the arrears is over the 2 years can I ask them to go for a LO then?0 -

I'd phone back and say that you want a callback from a team leader. This should take place in the next day or so. Let them know that you want to know exactly what stage it is at, if you have supplied the employer information then they should be contacting them and asking for wage info (they only really have a fortnight or so to send this info to the CSA).
Once an assessment and schedule are in place, if the arrears won't be cleared within 2 years then the CSA should be looking at parallel action - if they don't mention this then it certainly wouldn't hurt to ask them if they will send the case to legal enforcement, although there's no guarantee that they would do it by default.0 -
Oh thats great thankyou for all the advice I appreiciate it I will get on it asap
