2nd Income?

Hello,
I currently work 5 days a week, 9-5.30pm and I am looking at ways of making a 2nd income. I was looking into things like data entry jobs that I could do at home in the evening. Does anyone have any advice/tips of this?
Thanks.

My personal favourite, at the ripe age of 25 years old for me:
Pizza hut delivery.
Weds 6.30 - 9pm
Thursday 6.30 - 9pm
Sat 5pm to fin (11.30pm)
sun 5 - 10pm
total hours in a week: 16.5 (plus any extra hours available I did)
pay at the time was 10p above minimum wage
the time flew past when delivering. I got free / discounted food every day I worked. (It's not all pizza there, they do pasta and salad, etc. )
Banked me a cool £80 a week, and some tips on top of that.
They supplied the moped, new helmet, and safety kit and uniform. If you drive a car, they would insure your vehicle for the delivery work, and you got an extra 40p per delivery to cover running costs. (which was fair enough)
I did this for about 2 1/2 years, it paid off the finance on my first new motorbike.
I loved it. Would probably still work there if they hadn's stopped deliveries.0 -
Haven't come across any data entry jobs which pay regularly. The closest you are likely to get is with paid surveys, which is basically the same thing as data entry except requires a little more effort (your opinion). It's probably making me about £25/week on average, so won't be getting rich.

Yea it is hard to get something around these hours, I am looking for something evenings, weekends and could do a good few hours but these jobs maybe do not exist

Try the perople per hour website, the site specialises in freelancing and advertises 'data entry' jobs as well as other admin or virtual assistant jobs to name a but a few...read the adverts carefully and read the comments from potentcial bidders, some postings are scams. Good luck0

Have you tried bidding for jobs on a site like elance?
Just type data entry into their search box and see what jobs come up.
Good luck!0 -

I'm afraid most survey sitesare like this. I find it a poor way to make money. I've been with yougov for along time and am on £37.50 but the payout is £50!
I find swagbucks, mailpay, jakeroo and postloop are better ways to make money inyour spare time. Swagbucks in particular is a good way to earn amazon vouchersI make about £5 per month. You can do surveys and a lot of other things withthem to add a bit more. Let me know if your interested or want further info.
I'm interested in those 4 sites, what you do to earn etc. I tried swag bucks years ago but never seemed to get anywhere?! Any tips on any of the sites? Thanks

Hi
I was in a similar position as you a couple of years ago, I was working part-time and had a fair bit of spare time which i wanted to fill productively.
I did the following:
Created an ebay account
Attended car boot sales regularly
Bought some domain names
Took part in online paid surveys:
https://www.panelopinion.co.uk - this is my favourite survey website, it is simple but effective...You can withdraw your money when you get to £10 and it doesn't take that long to build up a good amount.
https://www.valuedopinion.co.uk - this website is good because they frequently have new surveys, which means you can qualify for them more often.
https://www.toluna.com - same as valuedopinion
https://www.surveyfriends.co.uk - this website rewards you with vouchers and prizes, which seem VERY easy to win lol. During 2012 I have already won a £50 amazon voucher and a £10 ticketmaster voucher and my friend won a 40" HD TV just before xmas. I am recommending this website based on our recent and previous success
I have joined numerous other survey sites but have had the most success with the ones above.
Remember: Never pay to join any survey site - its often a scam
Good Luck

 2014: £20 voucher from SurveyFriends, £10 cash payout from Panel Opinion too and working towards more from Valued Opinions currently.
2013: £35 and £50 vouchers from SurveyFriends! More than £15 made from other paid surveys sites (Yougov, Panel Opinion, Valued Opinions, Pinecone, etc.) Happy so far!0
