Wanna buy a carpet cleaner which is the best??

Hi All
Im looking to buy a carpet cleaner and wondered if anyone can recommend one to me, i bought a Bissell about 6 months ago and used it once as it was complete crap.
I have hired a rug doctor from Asda before and that was really good and bought by carpets up really clean, but would like to purchase a cleaner that works just as well as that did.
Anyone have any ideas?
