To remove any of the guff from an Amazon link and leave it with just a clean link to the item, just remove everything after the 10 digit item code (Amazon's ASIN number).

Links with affiliate codes look like this (affiliate code is just a made up one and I've added a space to the url after the tag so it is deliberately incorrect hope this is ok for the mods?):

Mostly the links just include referring information (to help Amazon track where the link was followed from, for their own tracking info within the Amazon website). These aren't affiliate links but this can be easily removed too.
