Can i register with more than one dentist?

I am registered with a dentist since 2 years but i am not feeling comfortable with them, every time i see different Dr and they keep asking me to fill a form because they keep lost my file, although i have treated many times, but every time i go they don't have any history about my teeth.

Anyway i am having a toothache now and i pregnant and the dentist refused to treat me now and said to come back after 8 weeks  which is really annoying as the pain never stop and i am feeling unwell at all. I think the tooth having infection.

Now i am thinking to see another dentist, can i register with another one?
p.s. i have maternity exemption

Except in scotland and NI there is no such thing as registration with a nhs dentist any more. They are not obliged to see you and you are not obliged to see them.
Ask friends and relatives for recommendations and book a check up now as it is important you get toothache sorted out.

In Scotland where there is registration you will automatically be removed from your dentists list if you go elsewhere and if they are busy you may not be able to return there until they have space.
