Motor bike cbt

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of CBT in Northern Ireland since it has become compulsory,, any ideas of where the cheapest place is because in my eyes its just yet another rip off.. :mad:

    I agree it's overkill and basically just a necessary evil. I got my licence before CBT was compulsory with RTS. They have good instructors but can be a little disorganised at times (I'd say most are the same). I'd recommend getting it all done ASAP as there are plans in England to change the licensing rules yet again. Those charges may find their way over here too.

    I thought that the only place to get a CBT was at the official test centre (at Mallusk in Belfast area)? Perhaps I'm wrong though?

    Thanks everyone,, gonna have to get finger out and get somethn sorted,, CBT 1st then full motorcycle test before 2 years has elapsed cos couldnt afford to do it every 2 years,, outta work at min so things a bit tight but want to b able to use bike when better weather arrives,,,,
    Thing that annoys me is that ive been driving my Vespa PX125 for almost 15 years now with no accidents or near misses and no desire to upgrade to a bgger cc but looks like im gonna be forced into taking full test now...

    ITS ALL A MONEY RACKET :mad:

    Check the Dvlni website as some Vespas can be used in the test for a full licence. The PX rings a bell there.
