commerical union not sending policy no for endowment

Options
Hi again , my husband has phoned commerical union about a policy he surrendered and got all the information he needed apart from the policy number ,they said they had to sent it in the post.
We have waited the 5-7 days they asked us to but it has not come through now I'm starting to wonder if there just putting us off.
What do you suggest I do?

Tell them it hasnt arrived yet and get them to send a duplicate.

I get around 5 envelopes a week now delivered to me which are not my address. They could easily have sent it but it got misdelivered.

For reference, Commercial Union do not exist any more and that trading name is no longer used. They are part of Norwich Union.

Does anyone know if I could send the letter of complaint without the policy number?

You dont need the policy number to complain. However, you ought to supply previous addresses and dates of birth with your complaint so they can find the policy you are referring to.
