I adore looking through other people's photos, both of their wedding, but also of everything they've got planned and prepared so far... so I thought selfishly I'd create this thread where we can flash everything in one place
I'll start

Here's some for starters, I really need to get a grip on resizing before I post any more :rotfl: What a fab idea for a thread :jForty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0

Brilliant idea for a thread! At some point hopefully today I will 1) get my backside in gear, and 2) work out how to resize pictures!

Bex's mum, your makes look lovely. I did notice one thing though, on the 'Alternative Wedding Programme', you've put 'so your going to sit through a wedding' rather than 'so you're...' Thought I'd better say before you print more?0

Too late was the cry!! I did those at the 11th hour (literally 11pm the night before) and I've now been married 2 weeks. I had noticed it but only when I was boxing one up in my keeps box and if anyone noticed they didn't say

Bexsmum love your makes very impressed! Can I be cheeky.... I'm looking to make our cake how much would you say it cost you to make yours? Also how did you get the depth of each tier.
Love your stationary i'm a big stationary fan.
Thanks0 -

Awww bless you Bex - I have removed them off the internet, just because now I'm a smug-married I rarely come in here so wouldn't feel 'safe' having random photos around if you see what I mean? I have removed them all from FlickR so it'd take some time to get them back up. Sorry! x0 -

Ah, well as long as you both enjoyed your day none of the little things matter!
(I just need to remember this myself, lol, when I'm worrying about flowers matching bridesmaids dresses)...0 -

Not cheeky at all. Confession to make - they are all fake cakes! We decided to make a fabulous fake cake and then a fruit and sponge cutting cake.
So - the price wasnt that bad really, it cost me for the cakes, boards, icing (a 5kg box was used in total) and all the decoration including buying new moulds and all the flower supplies. That came to about £80. Then the ribbon was a few pound and the brooch was £15. So all in it in came in at about £100 and that wasnt including the 3 days of my time to make it.
The 16" fruit cutting cake cost approximately £40 to make (plus a bottle of brandy) then the marzipan and icing. So that cost nearly as much as the faker :rotfl:
It wasnt the easiest cake I've ever made but I'm critical of myself and have no self confidence in my own makes but I did stand back and think "yep - thats bling enough!"
