Hello,
Is anyone else doing the "Carbon Fast" for Lent? So far I've:-
Wed - Check house for draughts using a feather - one found, time for a sausage dog!!
Thurs - removed a lightbulb.
Today - gotta survive without the car getting my walking boots on later tho' it looks a bit parky at present!
Saving money & having good fun & still eating chocolate (albeit fairtrade!)

Hi,
I've got the factsheet & there's different things to (aim to) do for each day.
Wed (Ash) - remove 1 light bulb
Thurs - check house for draughts with a ribbon. If it flutters buy an excluder
Fri - make at leats 1 of your journeys more environmentally friendly
Sat - Make sure you're using all avavilable avenues for recycyling.
The are different challenges for every other day of Lent too!Never-too-dizzy-too-learn

Hi twinklybev,
This thread is perfect for the Green and Ethical Moneysaving board so I've moved it over there where you should get more replies.
