40% Tax relief on employer pension contributions?

I'm currently a 40% tax payer and as such am able to claim back the extra 20% tax on my pension contributions (I make my contributions after tax deduction). I have contacted HRMC to ensure that I get this extra 20% benefit back however I also have contributions made to my pension from my employer (3% of total salary). I was wondering if I'm able to also claim tax back on the contributions they make?
It doesn't look like I get the basic 20% on those payments according to my annual pension statement so I can only assume not but I thought it was worth asking.
Kind regards
Edd

Contributions from the employer are made from their pre-tax corporate earnings, so there's no personal tax to reclaim.I am a Chartered Financial Planner

That's another way of saying that it is the employer who gets the tax relief, not you. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Are your own pension contributions made from pre-tax salary? Any mention of salary sacrifice? If either of those applies you'd already have received the tax relief.0

edd, you got 20% in the scheme as tax relief, but the other "20%" you need to reclaim via your self assessment
Employer 3% payments are made Gross, therefore, no relieft to claim as 60% of the 3% wasnt paid in, it should have been 100% of the 3% paid in. the 3% also should have been on your Gross income and not your Nett.Plan
