OMG "Say a Prayer" I wish I was on that beach with Simon right now. Totally agree re music DS2 is a mean guitarist and yes I know it's very uncool to be reduced to tears every time I hear him play but I can't help it (and he's generally playing heavy rock lol)LBM Nov 07Challenges: A Payment A Day Challenge 2012 Joined 08.03.12PADding Total:March £57.65 April £10.10DFWNerd - 1041-Proud to be dealing with my debts!Pesky CC March 2012 £2916.73:eek:Debt@March 2012 (inc OD) £5615 DFD self imposed target Feb 20140 -
Evening all. Late post for me this weekend and like some others all not very MSE:o
I have:
Sold some more bits on fleabay. Need to pack up the ones that have sold. Maybe list a couple more tonight.
Bought a couple of bits off fleabayin my defene in budget, but does feel a little extravagant none the less as we have really been tight since Christmas.
Washing on, dry naturally
Sorted bed clothes out - someone gave me a tip to put the duvet cover, sheet and spare pillowcases inside another pillowce to store - genius! As you don't have to search for sets. :T
Meals from stores - roast lamb in oven as we 'speak'
Did treat DD today (although it was free for her to go in, we had to pay) to see Peppa pig and go on a steam train - agin in budget, but  none the less.
Sent off share certificate so I can get the cheque
Cheque arrived from mus1c magp1e - DH can bank tomorrow
Have rejoined WW- used a £co code so effective first 3 months free. Am determined to stick to it, have been really good all weekend and been to gym twice :j
Tracked food on app
Get ready for a really busy week at work
Switched heating off, hopefully for good
And a bit about me - love getting to know you all better btw:) I am mummy to lovely 2 yo and live with her, my DH and 2 cats. I work full time in HR.
Enjoy what left of your weekend.0 -
Hi all
Wows lovely busy thread and some games too..so serious stuff first!!:p
- today we cleared gardens, tidying up and also taking delivery of lots of wood from lovely neighbours which we will use in our woodburner
- washing all on racks and on line. We had so much washing yesterday that I ran out of pegs!!:(
- a corking 2 days on the solar panels..£6.52 in total. Whoop whoop!
- dinner from stores and as per meal planner but have done a jiggle around as hadn't taken account of leftovers..planning is also helping me reduce the number of meat based meals we have so that's no bad thing
- 2 eggs from the chooks
Love the idea Spendaholic...my blip was finding myself today in a furniture store looking at £500 coffee tables..lord knows what came over me but luckily we left without purchasing!! we also went into B&* to pick up some plants, slug pellets, tile cement..you know the exciting stuff..oh the life I lead:rotfl: but I did realise then, after picking up some plants, that the old hanging basket had rotted and had been thrown away so we bought a ready made one....that's my confession.. By way of mitigation it looks very nice tho:rotfl:
Me..I am 41.. Have an OH and 2 DDs..8 and 11. Live in Bristol ( as you can tell) and work in project management. Love my job and do much more than am paid for/ asked to. Currently am PT after years of mad FT roles so enjoying that change of pace (breathing space?) but finding adjusting to less money harder than I thought it would be. Still can't complain as still have so much. OH works abroad a lot so later this year when he is away again you will no doubt hear the screams wherever you are in the world!! I am not always nice mummy then I can tell you!
