Sharing Memories of our Wedding with DS' Christening Cake

Hello fellow kind soul money savers,

When our Son was Christened, my Husband & I wanted a personal touch to the Cake decoration - well more me being girly and what not. We'd already saved a tier of our Wedding Cake for this future Special Day. So, I took the tier of our Wedding Cake into a local Cake Shop along with the pattern from my wedding Dress bodice, which had also coordinated with my Husband's waistcoat. The Cake Shop replicated the pattern on the perimeter of our Son's Christening cake accordingly. It looked lovely on the day and also evoked special memories from our wedding. Using that tier was also well Money Saved. Best Wishes to you all xx
