Can I just ask, these ASDA PS2, are they the slimline ones?0

Try ASDA - they have a small number of games reduced until the end of the month - Rayman for £9, Tomb Raider £9, and FIFA 07 £19. Adverts in yesterday's press.0

Depending on your priorities for cheap versus recent there is a very cheap if a bit ancient football game - Pro Evolution Soccer 4 for £3.98 with free delivery on the Game website:

It's about half way down and there are various other ultra cheap ps2 games in available.0 -
Adding to Rruthyjo's posting, you can also check the Gamestation website, the pre-owned section is 4 games for 20 quid, or slightly newer ones, 2 for 20 quid. Postage is £1, but if you club together with others and spend more than £40 it is free. I rarely buy newer games as they cost the proverbial arm + leg!
I'd rather buy 4 pre-owned than one bang up to date game. Another thing to note, is that they also have pre-owned Xbox, GBA, and Gamecube, and you can add from any of the four sections. I find this useful as i've got a PS2 and Xbox, and my eldest has got a GBA

Have not seen them myself but I've read posts elsewhere on MSE where people have said they are indeed the slimline PS20 -
