Simarc Charges on Remortgage

Hi
Just a quick question....My property in leashold and I am being bought out by my ex partner/wife who is remortgaging to provide me with the agreed amount we settled on. Can Simarc the lease management company charge her £366.00 in admin fees for this?. We have remortgaged before 7 yrs ago and I dont think we or the new building society even told them.

Thanks
John

The difference between this remortgage and the last one, is the last one didn't involve a transfer of equity. This means changes are made at the Land Registry.

I'm sure this is just the excuse they need to levy a charge.

Ask your solicitor if these are the same charges levied when the house is sold/purchased.
