Is there a prefered date in the month to Remortgage

Hi All,
We are currently remortgaging to a new lender, ive been wondering if there is a better date of the month to start the new mortgage.
my current mortgage comes out on the 21st of each month, is it better to start the new mortgage on the 18th say or is it better to make another payment and start it on the 22nd, if that makes sense at all.
Interest is calculated daily on our current mortgage.
