if you guys like scrabble have you tried words or scramble on app store its like boggle you get 2 mins i think to find as many words in the little block of letters, very addictive. my little girls loves to plays both scrabble and words and she doesnt even realise it educational.

I found this:

Frost
While frost buildup can create havoc with the evaporator coils in particular, you should also be aware that buildup throughout the compartment can block vents through which cold air is intended to flow. Resist the urge to defrost with an ice pick. Instead, relocate the food you have inside while you shut off the freezer, open the door and let the ice thaw naturally.
Do you think the vents at the bottom got blocked or something?
Could be an idea.
I intend to try and use up the rest of the stuff in it asap and then I will leave it empty for a day and see if it then freezes normally again.
Thanks for looking BP:beer::beer:

How's your DH? I think there is some kinda stomach bug going around, something for everyone to get before the colds/flu starts;)
I used to play the scrabble on FB a lot more until they brought the adverts into it and I then got bored with them, but now they don't seem to last as long as they did when they first started. I love playing it live/when MT and my portugese pal is online, but the problem is the time goes so quickly when doing that and getting nothing else done:cool:Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

CouponWoman wrote: »I am really annoyed and upset. Just had to throw about £150 of meat in the bin.
Noticed my chest freezer was iced up at the top, despite my defrosting it about a month ago.
So decided to defrost it again. Emptied it but as I got near the bottom I realised everything was soggy and defrosted but things at the top were fine.
Had to throw away, a leg of lamb, several joints of beef, a few of pork, chicken, a side of salmon etc.
Strange how only the bottom 10 inches was defrosted though. Just couldn't risk eating any of it as no idea how long its been in this state.
So just in case the freezer goes completely, we are now eating out of the freezer only. I padded the bottom foot of the freezer with bubblewrap to raise things up a bit in the hope I can save the stuff that is still frozen.

So sorry about your freezer. Are you covered on your insurance for it? A lot of insurance covers freezers/food, so worth checking. You will have to make a list of stuff which was in it. When I claimed a few years ago I didn't need the food and it didn't effect my premium.
At least you and hubby will be eating well for a few days, you just need to use a few wombles for some veg;)Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
