Had a call from SEN tonight we had only been home 20 mins and were going though mail so caught us of guard especially as nearly 6pm. They have agreed to fund DS3 starting as year10 in Sept not year11 so will go back a year:j been waiting on the decision since mtg on 29th June when the school recommended this option. It is what is best for him with all that he has missed. But feeling a little teary about the news, as realising that his cousin and my best friends girl that Daniel went to school with at primary will all be receiving their results this time next year and he won't be part of it when he should have been and it was so unnecessary if he had been given the right help to begin with. Maybe I am just PMT/tired etc think it bad timing with all the news this morning about exam results then the call. I know I am being stupid and DH definately thinks I am being stupid as he knows it's the best outcome and I know it isn't when he sits them that's important but giving him the best chance to succeed that is important. See I keep telling myself this but still eyes water thinking about it.

Thanks for explaining the codes CW! My FIL (80) has 6 sisters so there's 6 DAIL's varying ages from 70 to 90+!

DD2's still got another year to go but she managed to get an A in Geography and C or better in the other 4. The important thing is she got a C in Spanish and she needed it to be a teacher. She really didn't get on with Spanish so I am sooooo pleased she passed :D

Goodness your a long livig family to have all those elderly aunts in law.

Well done to DD2, I am hopeless at languages so getting a C in Spanish is a big achievement in my opinion. :T:T:T:T

I hope she she achieves her dream of becoming a teacher.

    So well done to her:T:T:T:T

Hun, all that matters is your son gets there in the end. You know the old say about the tortoise and the hare.

If your son needed the extra time to achieve the result you all want, it doesn't matter if it takes an extra year. Its just like students who do re-sits. In the great scheme of things its irrelevent as long as he does his best, sits his exams and gets good grades. So well done to your son for persevering, I hope he does well.:T:T:T:T

    Morning Everyone! :)

Sitting in bed with laptop as living room has been taken over by 4 girls all asleep. They were going to sleep in the garden in a tent last night but heard a funny noise and all trooped back inside!

AH - hope you feel better this morning after a good sleep?

PM - you sound much more positive about your wedding plans.
