    Thanks BP, PM and CW.
It is a while CW - DAIL1 had 1 day at home and had to go back in the next day. She's had a heart attack too and sounds down - very unlike her. DAIL2 is recovering at home - she was taken ill while looking after DAIL1

    Morning Everyone! :)

Sooooooooo happy! DD1 just got the results of her GCSE Biology and Physics and passed both :j:j

If you remember she has special needs and I spent weeks helping her to revise every spare moment we had. It was such a stressful time as she finds it so hard to commit anything to memory.

At primary school I began to wonder if she would ever be able to even read and now here she is passing GCSEs. So proud of her! :T

How sad that DAIL1 only had 1 day at home. Just when she thought she could have a break from hospitals she had to go back in. No wonder she is down atm.

And DAIL2 maybe looking after DAIL1 was just too much for her..

Do they live together and look after each other usually. Maybe they need more help at home.

I think they will enjoy your visiting them at the weekend, really cheer them up.

Hope they both feel better soon.

No she has another year to do yet. She just did these two exams this year and Chemistry last January.

Dreading next year with lots more exams. She only just coped with two! I will have to put a spend a lot of time with her. Still its worth it if it means she passes.

Not sure yet what she will do after GCSEs. A Levels won't suit her, so will have to find something much more practical/vocational. Am I expecting too much that they will get lots of advice at school next year?

DD2 has her 11+ next year as well.
