Cheers AH - we are going to "a 350 acre working farm, in the peaceful Heddon Valley on Exmoor. Set between the moor and the sea, near Lynton & Lynmouth" apparently!
Morning all
Sounds a wonderful place jeferey. Stopped at Lynton & Lynmouth many a time a beautiful place:) We used to leave home around 5.30am in the morning to drive to Hartland Quay and would make DH drive the long way round the coast past Minehead porlock and Lynton & Lynmouth as was such a wonderful drive (not sure he was too happy with the extra time driving put it this way he refuses now he got old and crabby:D:p) his reward would be we stopped in either Porlock Hill or mainly Lynton & Lynmouth and had breakfast see how kind I was:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Like we say the journey is all part of the holiday. I know you going to have a fantastic time. :T
DS3 was hoping we were going to Devon this summer hols as he loves the place but broke from NY:( he very disappoionted and the NY seems such a long time ago now:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

We have had a good weekend here weather nice kids coming to understand about cat now we have talked and they are starting to get their heads around it.
Got this thru post today from vets tho it's so beautiful made me teary all over again but wanted to share with you guys
Must get my bum in gear this week coz have a wys for mr T and lots lovely ssm mocs but it's hard work sorting out list etc with kids about
CM
I Think that was really thoughtful of them to send that to you even if it did bring a tear that's not such a bad thing. The words were so beautiful. It just shows with the olympics that tears are a way for all emotions and I think it is better to shed a tear than to not feel emotion at all they have a very important part to play. ((((HUGGS)))) to you all0 -

,probably going to go back to bed when he gets out for work.came downstairs & cuddled up with the dogs but then one of them started heavy breathing ,.never mind done the veg for tonights tea.
hi Aesop DH ordered me a new lappie last nightthanks anyway
CL if DH suffers from tiredness in the day especially when driving, maybe he should be checked for obstructive sleep apnoea as can be quite dangerous. DH was diagnosed with this nearly a year ago after having problems for years and had been referred to hospital in past but they didn't check for sleep apnoea. He ended up off work for a year and now has a sleep pac Thank God. People sometimes not fully aware how serious it can be he losed his licence for nearly a year through it (for safety reasons) and only just got it back in June this year. When he had the sleep test he actually stopped breathing 86 times in 1 hour and the gasping in his sleep is him starting to breath again the other side to this problem and something we were not aware off until his diagnosis is if he had had an operation it could have had very serious consequences if he had gone under anasthetic luckily he had never had an operation but there are many people walking around unaware of them suffering as many think it is just snoring. He has a letter he has to give if he needs to have an op which explains the condition and they have to follow a different procedure. So don't want to sound alarmist but just passing on our experience and obviously not every snorer will have this condition. HTH:)0 -
for Chattmum, if you haven't seen this already (and for all of us who have lost a much loved furry recently)
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Lovely to see you posting FV, you were in all our thoughts. So happy that your little girl is recovering well and we are willing the longterm outcome to be not anywhere near as bad as you fear now.
I am in the full throes of terrible pmt at the moment and had a full-on argument half an hour ago with three guys in a white van at the air terminal in Sainsburys petrol station. I was in a queue for air and these muppets drove round the wrong way and pushed in front. Well, I wasnt having any of it! They said some horrid things, I said some mean things back, lol! Sometimes I dont know what comes over me! I feel all shaky now Im back home. OH says I shouldn't have got involved, what if they attacked me, etc. I was just so bl**dy mad! Im beginning to fear for my sanity, lol, in Disneyland I flung myself at two french kiddies who decided to push in on DD3 and her little friend at a photo point shouting Non! Non! Non! You wait! My flip flop pinged off as I rushed to intervene and landed right by the said french kiddies' parents feet. They did not say anything but at least DD3 and her pal did not lose their place.
I just can't help it! OH was embarrassed! Couldn't even blame pmt for that one! But today, well thats another story. I can literally feel myself igniting...
Need to lie down in a darkened room, one without mozzies! The plug ins have helped a lot, but the bites itch for ages afterwards. Argh!Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x
