Morning all and a Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers, Grand Mothers and Great Grandmothers :A

A Huge thankyou for all your kind huggs and cards everyone, much appreciated:A:A:A.

I have managed to sort sisters train ticket paying an extra £31.50 for the changes but accom proving more difficult it's a Premier Inn but the saver rate which is non refundable & non ammendable we rang the hotel direct but they can't help and we need to wait until Mon to ring the customer relations. Sister is stressing as she wants to be in Hamilton where the funeral is, where the Premier Inn is in Glasgow she said if they don't allow us to change she would rather stay nearer and is worried the room we found will be gone if we wait until Mon and there is no Premier Inn in Hamilton. My Mum & Dad (who is in denial) have already gone as had booked to go yesterday but also too late:(

Feel like the next couple of weeks going to be living on trains DS3 visit to new school went well and is suppossed to be doing Tues to Thurs again this week and we are mean't to stay near incase any issues but have asked if it is possible for us to drop him Tuesday stay most of the day then we return home and DH will have to go up on Thurs to collect him as I will be travelling to Scotland. They are going to check with the care staff and call us Monday. Just bad timing I guess it will all get sorted in the end.

Also wishing with all our hearts that Fabrice Muamba pulls through DH was watching the match at the time and was very sad seeing how disstressed all the players and fans were and we thought the worse so really praying for him and his family and indeed again reminds us how fragile life can be

it's very sad, 23, and just playing football. They said he was superfit, but you never know, he may have had an underlying heart condition that no one was aware of.

I knew a 19 year old that went jogging and one day had a heart attack in the middle of the street, no one knew he had a heart condition.

Hope Fabrice gets better very quickly.

There is a condition that you can be born with and be totally unaware off which affects the heart and many people especially sports people (as they push themselves to the limit) have suddenly had these heart attacks many very young 16 + . Something similar happened to Terry Yorath's son and there have been campaignes for test to be done at birth but again comes down to costs:eek:. We remember a very promising young 16year old with a promising career ahead this happened too very sad for the family

Like DH said you would think this test would be routine as part of a medical if you are going to be a football player/sports person esp as it seems to happen quite often in this sport and if it saves one life it is worth it.
