Finally managed to get some pork in Mr T and got my £10 price promise. Went to use it today to get some stuff and petrol coupons, but assistant insisted on keeping my original receipt? I did say it was mine as it had my credit card details, but she was having none of it and kept it! Is this a new policy that they keep your receipt if you use a price promise?
They just make it up as they go along:mad:
Have a look at Dr Who Who's letter to T's a few pages ago. The same thing happened to herYou can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you. ~John Wooden 154/06/2700 -

That looks like the way they are doing it now. Snowdrop, drop CEO a line & complain. Tell them you got credit card details as well as "electrical" good (hopefully something similar where you need the original receipt for future returned). You never know maybe the stuff you bought has gone bad or out of date or damaged.
Ask CEO how can you exchange so & so now that they have got your receipt? Ask them where is your guarantee now? See what they say.
Don't write to customer service, email directly to CEO you get faster reply saying that they didn't replied to my email yet. They just acknowledge receipt of my email.
