Why ssm don't post all the vouchers in one envelope, would save them a fortune.:rotfl::rotfl:and maybe speed up the process as I have waited over 5 months for mine.

I got my £5 one yesterday and still waiting for £30, maybe more will come today.

  • Hi everyone. Sorry for not posting. August is a difficult month for me, each day seems to last forever, its almost like waiting for Armagadden. Then the so feared day passes like any other and I remember the truth that it is the daily reality and not just this day. I just get overwhelmed with looking at the date and thinking to myself, 3 years ago today, life was good. I bl**(y hate August! I also think that FV post hit a very raw nerve with me and sent me tumbling, Jack n Jill style, down the hill of grief! I should also let you know that I have not heard from FV, so I am worried that she is alone with her sorrow, but there is nothing I can do. If any of you have her personal email or are friends on fb, maybe you could try and make contact?

Poor OH is not much one for words, prefers to be practical. Thursday morning, he gave me just three hours notice that he had booked Disneyland Paris for four days so this is the reason I have not posted. We took DD3 and OH had also arranged to take DD3 little friend. We had a lovely time, although knackered now and I fear for my trotters, I think I have killed them! lol.

Lots of posts to catch up on, glad to see you are ok PM, not long now eh? Chin up Hun, you're going to have a wonderful life!

I could do with one of your muffins MT, really must get into cake making again, it always makes me feel so much better.

Love and hugs to all who need them. DD2 is fine thanks MT for asking, she has a proper little belly now but is having daily meltdowns for all her clothes are getting too tight.

Thoughts for the family of missing Tia and Gary Barlow and his wife Dawn at this sad time.

Big hugs to Andy Murray, Yay! (missed it, travelling home, but still - Yay!)

Also, I too had a post office card left for a signed for r.d yesterday. Wonder if it is one of my mission control vouchers? Its been 5 months! I have moaned via email several times and not even had the courtesy of a response! Its been quite a shambles. Ive won £55 I think in total and not received anything yet. Hope when I pick up today its one, if not all of them.

    Smell ya later... lol

Morning everyone:) sorry finding it difficult to get on and drivel :(:(:( made worse by olympics so glad Murry finally managed to win at Wimbledon think he would have swapped the medal to have actually won the Wimbledon Final last month but isn't team GB doing fantastic so great to see Beth Tweddle get a Bronze medal so many outstanding achievemants like Gary Lineker said sports person of the year going to be interesting this year :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Blue managed to get my shops in on Sat for luggage and petrol coupons got very stressed DH done 2 shops fine as you said £5 came off full price of luggage then I went through with 2  silly SA scanned a card which took the 70% off before putting everything else so left me short of being able to use £5 so grabbed 2 more tea bags knew the same was going to happen with the backpack but more complicated as had other bits so had no idea what needed to be added he was saying £15:eek: so asked to cancel the shop customers now building up were not best pleased with me:o:o:o got panicked put the unpaid for items in the trolly and superviser took to the customer service while I went to the car to re think with my suitcase and teabags. Checked what till DH had used went back in and put through that till:T.

Went Sunday to different T's as visiting friends went for 6 x tea bags and 2 x cereal and was going to use a £5  no tea bags left so only 2 petrol.

Was at another T's last night again no tea bags:(:(:(

I did pick up 2 womble receipts both with no clubcard so atleast can get points added (56 & 22), 1 was paid cash the other paid by Visa debit not sure what the changes are but can I enter these for Price check TIA:beer:

Thanks SND Genmod Blue & Bully for vouchers coupons to help out with these purchases:A:A:A

Don't know if it will be of help but at the T's I visited last night to return something there were leaflets found 2 in trollies for 50p off £2 spend on greetings cards so think they might have been handing them out I had just spent nearly £6 in S's on a Graduation card and DS card so decided to re buy and will return the others to S's:D;) but might be worth looking out for in other T's.

Yes it is DS2 birthday today although he is now 26 you would think he is 6:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: unlike my other 2 DS he gets so excitied about his birthday. It was his day off yesterday he was up at 5:eek: going on about his birthday and has gone on about making sure he has a big cake:rotfl:for later on. He wants to go for a Chinese Buffet thing DH not keen on these but it's DS2's choice as is his birthday:D:rotfl:

Just trying to catch up on all your chat since my long holiday in France and notice that a number of you are into the Olympics.

We managed to get 3 lots of cheap tickets for "retired" at £16 each. Went to Wimbledon on Tuesday and saw the long match on No 1 court which Tsonga eventually won. Really exciting - not even really spoilt by the 3 hour break for rain. Felt sorry for the Canadian he beat as the crowd was definitely favouring Tsonga.

Yesterday we had to catch the first train out at 6.00 am to go to Stratford for the opening morning of athletics. Super arena - the place was full - and what an atmosphere especially when Jess Innes and the other GB athletes were taking part.

There were so many people arriving at the site but absolutely no problems with security or admission - so much for being told to allow 2 hours to get in. The volunteers are marvellous - helpful and smiling and chatty. Loads of children there - hope it inspires them for the future. The morning just flew past - everything was run so slickly - well done us.

Looking forward to next week when we have more athletics tickets even if it is another 6.00 train.

OOH so Jealous you lucky thing what a fantastic oportunity:j
