Subject: Price Promise voucher?
Dear Sir/Madam,
Today I have had the most unpleasant shopping experience at your Tekco !!!!!!!!!!!!!. Your checkout supervisor needs to be more professional when confronting customers who use the price promise vouchers. I am not saying all your checkout supervisors are rude but this particular person needs to go for extra training! She was really rude & unfriendly towards myself when I tried to pay using a price promise voucher amongst other clubcard vouchers, plus her attitude towards me when she tried to explain she needed to keep the receipt was simply unacceptable !!
Her name is : !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Checkout Supervisor Manager.
As I was already down town, I went into the above store & do my usual shopping using a Price Promise voucher which was only £1ish plus the rest make up of clubcard reward coupons. I gave the coupons to the checkout girl and immediately the supervisor !!!! approached the till and started to takeover the transaction. Moreover I gave all my coupons in the correct order as the receipt was attached to the price promise voucher, this is when the problem started.
The reason I am writing to you is I need you to clarify for me :-
1) Do all of your Checkout Supervisor Managers treat the customers who
use a Price Promise voucher like a criminal?
She was watching me like a hawk! and I know I did nothing wrong as I
used the price promise & the clubcard vouchers accordingly.
2) Why is it that this store is adamant to keep customer's receipt if they
are to use a price promise voucher?
She said it was a HQ request/policy and she rudely told me that if I
wanted to redeem my £1ish price promise voucher I had to hand in the
receipt for them to keep so they can give it to the cash office?? She
then went on to say if I am not happy I should not use the price
promise voucher and/or contact you.
3) What would happen to my electrical goods guarantee if they are
adamant on keeping the receipt?
How am I going to return my slow cooker or electrical goods if I
don't have the original receipt to return in exchange for another one
whilst its under the guarantee?
So, where does my electrical guarantee stand now that they have
decided to change the rules of using a price promise voucher?
I know that today I handed her the voucher with no electrical goods
but I still have one receipt with a slow cooker & the the price promise
came back with around £5 on the groceries that I spent up to about
£80 on.
In conclusion as a valued shopping customer, why was my shopping experience today at Tekco made to be such an ordeal by very poor customer service provided by a rude and unfriendly manager in !!!!!!!!!?
Finally could you please enlighten me about the confusion between myself and the supervising manager earlier today.
Yours sincerely : Mrs Grumpy!:D

This is a good letter and should get you a good size gift card. I need to complain to them as well as the SA was very rude yesterday when I was using three PP vouchers. I did one per transaction as per the rules and she took over the transaction and actually threw my shopping:mad::mad:

Tried to use a couple of the new longer barcode PP on SS yesterday and each one said can't scan, put coupon asideSA put them through manually but anyone know why? Is it because they are wombles and a matching CC wasn't scanned before PP :eek: (Don't use my CC on wombles unless cash/CC points ones)
:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
