Just went and checked on hubby. He has fallen fast asleep in a chair watching the olympics.

He looks so funny with a big white dressing on his forehead and over his left eyebrow. Then another covering the bridge of his nose and across his cheek. lol

But at least he is quiet so I can play on the computer in peace. lol

    CWxx

CW glad DH is on the mend a fall like that can take a lot out of you and leave you aching in suprising places. Had a little giggle at your description (sadist in me sorry) it reminded me of 2 Christmas ago my DDad had a bad fall on some ice (he was a little drunk at the time so probs no sense no feeling) anyways had his head all bandaged up hair sticking out of top and we all had a laugh (well once we knew he was ok) as he reminded us all of Rab C Nesbit on Christmas day and looked so funny sitting in church in his suit (always goes to church in a suit very old fashioned)he did get some curious looks this grey haired pensioner looked like he had been in a fight:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. See it is his birthday on Christmas day & as he was spending it with us his little crew at his local treated him to his whiskies early :D;) think he regretted that:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Evening all! Sorry I've not been around for the week, been away in the States with work so really haven't been able to get on much at all this week, even in the evenings your time is never your own. However, I did manage to get a wee bit of shopping in as we were there over a weekend (and blew my CCC 2012 budget :o well, the only way I'll make target is not to buy another stitch this year and I don't think that is realistically going to happen) BUT I did make some savings when I picked up some choc at the grocery store - borrowed a guy's storecard (he was behind me in the queue) and saved about $2 :T Oh, and caught an episode of a CSI type prog...theme was all based around a case of an extreme couponer being killed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

FV - I did manage to pick up what happened to your DD3, I hope she's on the mend soon, anything with the mouth is just so sore as there's so little that can be done. The idea of her swilling with salt water is a good one though. And thank you for sharing about the sad loss of DD1, don't ever feel that you can't talk about it on here xx

Well guys, would anyone be so wonderfully kind as to fill me in on anything major that i've missed? I feel totally out of the loop with everything atm, I need to get food shopping as the fridge is virtually empty and must get my brain back to :money: mode (which is tricky when still coping with the jet lag) x

    AH - Vouchers are yours!

I am still going to WW, had a spell a few weeks ago when I was messing around, gaining weight one week and then taking it off the next. Been OK for the last couple of weeks, only 1lb away from goal now (have lost a total of 39 lbs so far). I just need to shift that final pound before hubby gets home next weekend as I know I will gain a little then!

I think once you have been on holiday it is very difficult to get motivated again, maybe by losing a little weight you will find your hips will feel better. I suffer with painful knees and have found that they are a lot better since losing the weight.

I went to get some beer and as I read on the elite the tills will only accept one coupon and they wouldn't put any more through manually:(:( I could have done the beer as 7 seperate transactions but obv told them thanks but no thanks:( People don't understand that taking the p*ss outta deals/glitches makes it stand out and it is soon stopped. I think this is why there is hardly any coupons around now as the p*ss is taken outta any as soon as they appear and companies probably think it isn't worth giving out coupons or only a very limited amount now via fb. I am not saying I don't get the glitches/use lots of coupons but I don't get hundreds of an item on a glitch or stand out by doing it every day in the same store.

Hopefully sainsburys will reduce the price of the beer before the coupons 2 people so kindly sent me run out of date.:D
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Just a quick query - where / how do you all get the conditional spend coupons. I never get any from the till spits or coupons sent to me so have to rely on the occasional one in the newspapers. I think Mr. T must look at all the manufacturers coupons I use and decide I am getting enough off! :rotfl:
