Just posting to let you know I'll be off the radar for a while.
Doubt I'll have time to keep up with posts as both my grandchildren will be going into hospital tomorrow in Nottingham( a fair distance from home)being admitted at 7.30 am.
They are both having extremely delicate surgery involving 5 hour long operations to have cochlear implants on the left side of their heads. They already have them on their right side, done when my grandson was 6 and my granddaughter was 3....but now he is 20 and she is 16, they are both very much aware of what will happening....needless to say they and all of us are very apprehensive.....there are no guarantees the ops will work, but believe you me , we have everything possible crossed. They were both born profoundly deaf and the first implants have given them some hearing and speech, hopefully now they will be hearing on both sides and everything for them will ,hopefully ,be much better than before.Fingers Crossed everyone and for those of you that have a God in their lives, please do the neccessary...
I hope everything goes to plan for your grandchildren Bully, I have said a prayer for them and you x2014 Swagbucks goal - £50/ £300 - 16/01/2014

PM, I think you deserve the dress, £55 is not an awful lot of money, it is for a special occasion rememberperhaps you could re-sell or wear on your honeymoon?

wear your scars with pride. Don't hide them away, they represent something in your life. You have moved on and will keep moving on.
Your scars are beautiful battle wounds. Showing strength and courage.
Anyway, you will notice that most people actually don't notice.... too busy looking at themselves
Lovely words Aesop :APart_Mouse wrote: »Well done MT DD
Beautifully put Aesop. i never wear dresses or anything like that and im only 28. iv'e had the scars since my teens and I know they will be with me forever. I do hate being caught off guard though when people say horrid things. sometimes if im feeling brave and the weathers really hot I will werar a tshirt out, but if im on the bus often people will get up and move.
Awh PM, please do not waste your precious time on the ignorance of others. Some people are so small minded.Hi again everyone! Just wanted to share my great news with you all, I'm going to be a Grandmother!!! This news comes on such a sad day for us as it was 2 years ago that my darling Hubby passed away. I was dreading today but God is sending me a Grandbaby to give me something to look forward to. I just wish Hubby was here to help me spoil it!

You and me both PM, but you would feel worse if you wore something you were not happy with. You could always wear it on your birthday with a cardi/shrug/wrap, nice heels and some jewelry to make it different to the hen night
my youngest is 14 months not so much a wee baby any more but little enough...
I am so so broody:o
