Remember, never ever ever give them your receipt no matter what. They can signed it but the receipt(s) belongs to the customer.

Tell them what you have posted. Ask them how are you going to returned "dress" that does not fit or "electrical" stuff that your family does not want.

Ask them where is your guarantee on the item(s) since they insisted on keeping your receipt.

Not sure how they know cos' me never, never use cl/card not need their points not like them see what I buy most of the time. Its invasion of privacy.

I would complain to Tesco head office. I had this happen to me and they sent me a £20 giftcard.

They shouldn't keep the receipt. They should mark it and give back to you.
