It's another rather wet and dull morning, I think it's a weather curse for them announcing a drout back at Easter which put me off buying flowers this year for garden:( as no point if we were going to be stopped from only emergency use of water here in the south. Doesn't seem to have let up since:rotfl:

I know what you mean, it's like the water companies have cursed summerPart_Mouse wrote: »Thanks, just really upset with things and wedding planninghow are you?
Big hugs PM, I know I said it last night but do try not to stress too much, being flexible and expecting things to change will make it seem a lot easier to deal with. It's one day of the start of the rest of your life with the man you love, and even if there are little hiccups in planning it, you'll still wake up together the morning after, and if you're really lucky you'll have a wonderful marriage and love for each other like Mr and Mrs 3Dogs have shown us all xFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I am spending more time on "YW" than here. This is because I get to enter into weekly prize draw for posting carps:D:D and I get nowt from this website except from having lovely visual friends on this thread only.
Even I don't post it does not mean I have abandon you lot.
To be honest I felt it like switching the supermarkets if they are not giving "GOOD RETURNS" (apg / jtd etc;)) As many of us have said we had been together in good and bad times and supported each other to the most we can. But as CW says, its totally up to you...................CouponWoman wrote: »My opinion of Your World v mse drivel thread, as that is what it seems to come down to. On the one hand YW is something new, I have never heard of it before DrWW joined it, but its not for me.
I joined mse just over 3 years ago and I consider everyone on this thread to be my friend. I have never felt so much love and friendship from people I have never met. The drivel thread is the best mse thread there is, oh we have the occasional moan about something/someone but underneath it all the regulars on this thread are all wonderful, kind, generous, people, who really care about each other.
You cannot put a price on the friendships that have been made via mse and particularly this thread, it has evolved into a family and I consider that priceless.
I joined this thread when I was made redundant from a job I used to love and was in dire need of help, not just from the loss of money, but I felt so rejected and depressed and yes, lost. I found mse at just the right time, and I have learnt so much about saving money and made I hope lifelong friendships with people who I would never have "met" otherwise.
So to me, this thread is an important part of my life, and I couldn't and wouldn't want to change that.
But I also believe we have to make our own decisions in life and on mse too, so if DrWW wants for whatever reason to post mainly on YW that is up to her. I will really miss her posts, she is so clever and witty and amusing and kind too so I am sure a lot of others on here will be sad too and miss her great posts.
CWxxI am not sure how to respond to the above without upsetting my sis like she has upset me so kept quite for a few days:cool:
Yes, Imagine if we did all move to the your world site like my sis has, there would be no help for each other when needed, no glitches to see like CW's orange juice glitch (thanks for the pm CW:A:A), no mission control love 2 shop vouchers as we wouldn't know about it with just being on the above site AND some people who make a LOT of use of the Tesco RTD and previously the DTD they/we would not know about that as it is prob not posted on that site. But hey ho, what's that matter if you can win a couple of quid here and there;) I would love to hear if you win more on that site than you have got through dtd and love2shop vouchers sis:cool:
Hopefully Bully will post a few comps on here when wimbledon is over.
I am not sure about others, but tbh I don't post on here for what I can get money wise/in glitches/offers, I post on here cos I love the community we have built and the family feel. As much as I would love to be rich, money is not everything, friendship and some family is more precious and I value my friends I have made on here. I know if I need help/advice or just wanna moan/whinge I can come on here and hopefully everyone else feels the same. There are some VERY generous people on here and if I ever get an invite to some crappy website that needs all my time then I won't be accepting it.;)
.
Well said both of you......I second that.......:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T0 -
Hi everyone!!! I sure have missed you all! I'm doing alright. I have a job I like, just wish it wasn't 2nd shift. I like the people I work with though so it makes 2nd shift bearable (don't really have time for a life being on 2nd shift). Sorry to brag, but there are so many coupons over here that I don't print as many as I did in England. Oh and it's great to shop without dealing with trouts! The stores over here really encourage you to use coupons on sale items plus if they let you "stack" coupons (using a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon) so you get stuff really cheap or free. I am happy to be back home and close to my family. Will be spending today at one of my sister's for a family bbq, should be a hoot! Nice to be back with my childhood friends too, we all kept in touch over the years. Also became a member of my church but must confess I haven't been going regularly the past month or so as I'm still fighting a bit of depression from missing my darling Hubs. I have a nice house with the State forrest across the road and behind my back yard plus I have nice neighbours. I hear the coyotes more than I hear the neighbours. My house and property have loads of potential and I have lots of plans for both, just have to save the money to do what I want, such is life... Well it's after 3am so I best get some shut eye so I don't fall asleep at the family 4th of July bbq. It's been great chatting with you, I've really missed you all! Thanks for asking about me and thanks Blue for this link so I could catch up with everyone!!
Great to hear from you sher....:T Glad you are happy being with your family and enjoying couponing more than here......:A:A:A
I did add you on FB long back but since FB changed format (timeline etc)....not going much on there sorry...:o:o0 -
Morning all
I am doing OK, I think ! Still very busy sorting stuff for mum and today I am making cakes for after the funeral. My wish as dad loved my homemade lemon drizzle cake, so that will keep me busy this morning as I then have to drop it off at a family member for them to take it to church hall.
Mum wants me to sort dad's shed today - not sure how I feel about that, but it will have to be done sometime, so need to keep her happy and occupied too at the moment.
Will be busy cooking this evening as DS and his GF are arriving tonight for the funeral, they are coming straight from work so will need feeding (and it keeps me busy) so looking forward to seeing them again.
Hope you are doing OK and not getting too stressed with your wedding plans.
Thinking of you SnD.....sending you lots ((((hugs)))))) for you and your mum.....:A:A:A0 -
Strictly for a regular and no replies will be made to lurkers who ask or pm me;)
I have a sun holidays priority code which came in an email. I offered it to a friend who has now decided they won't be using it so am offering it to someone on here. If no one on here wants it then I will look on the sun hols thread, but wanted to give my pals the first chance.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Anything I can do ?
I seem to be the only one here
That was very kind of you quoia
Hope everything is ok PM. Wedding planning is always stressful. But remember everything doesn't have to be perfect. Do as much as you can and remember what matters is the love between you and your OH:heart2:You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you. ~John Wooden 154/06/2700 -
