lol thanks bp was coming over here to ask for advice:o
don't think it could be seen as fraud and not sure that the police would do anything anyway. was thinking he said this to scare OH off (it's worked) weren't getting many receipts from there anyway and the last time we were there saw a woman going round the carpark wombling too (how very dare she lol)
think will leave that A's to her now.
don't think that they can phone up dvla with our reg and get any info? hope not anyway!!!mmm..... these strawberries make my breath happy mum ds

Under both supermarkets' price guarantee schemes, it doesn't matter who has bought the groceries – all you need to do is enter the code from a valid receipt. In fact, Asda and Tesco say what Stephen does is legal.

I'm wondering who the guy was and what he was doing in the car park. If he was the manager it seems very strange for him to be out of the store. I cannot see how he can complain that your picking up litter, as far as he knows your OH was going to put the receipts in the bin.
To get your details from dvla with your reg they have to give a good reason why they want them and I don't think they have one. I would think about suing them if they got my details for no reason, plus it would be a waste of money as they have to pay the dvlaBe thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

hi, bluewicked,
OH said he wasn't one of the security men, was dressed smartly and A's badge on, but he did have a walkie talkie thing, only on his own though surprised that he didn't have a security man with him. just think it's been a scare tactic. hubby didn't argue though, i probably would have and got myself in more troublemmm..... these strawberries make my breath happy mum ds

Hi grass roots
I would have asked him who he was and what I was being accused of. As I said where is the proof that he was not just picking up litter? My OH pick up litter all the time as it is his pet hate the way people throw bottles and stuff anywhere. Unfortunately he doesn't go to the supermarkets with me or he would be handy for wombling;)
I have often used lots of wombled receipts in one shop and it is pretty obvious I have not done all the shops to get them with them being all on the same day and have never had nay problems using them.
Is it just me who thinks it all seems very strange and is wondering if the guy was wombling himself and wanted to scare you off his "patch":eek:Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
