    hi MAG
work situation not any better down the road, like you say mostly seasonal or care work, so boys have been very lucky & now it.
although i'm sure they'll be glad not to have me nagging & pushing all the time now.
you do wonder about the younger ones (DD's 11 & 6 left)

meant to say thanks for sharing your daughters picture
and as always your great posts:)

oh and hands off my APG wombling area :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::p

    Morning all...

More congrats to MT's boys. Life is hard for youngsters these days, so hard to forge a career for boys especially. I know here in Weston there is very little work other than seasonal or care home for both men and women. DD2 was lucky to get work with a merchandising company (her client is Unilever, but so far not many freebies/moc :() and she knows how lucky she is. Scary thoughts for the younger ones, DD3 is just 8 and I wonder all the time what will the world be like when she's leaving school.

    Group hug for all x

    hi SnD
how are you today? sounds like you've been to busy at the moment to actually sit and think to much about it yet.

looks like you need a good deal on tea/coffee/milk, perhaps we should have a coupon whip round:D

it was brother engaged, DS got an apprenticeship and is really enjoying it.

Morning all, haven't had a chance to catch up yet, but just reading this page looks like PM - you have set a date? If so really pleased for you and many congratulations.

MT - congrats to your brother or son on engagement? Both or one of them?

Still not been able to register dad's death, waiting for coroner to confirm why my dad's details have not been sent to registrar. Coroner rang me yesterday to say I could now make appointment to register death. Until registrar has details, I can't even make an appointment, So frustrating!

Coping OK at the moment, as hubby says, I have gone into control freak mode :eek:. I am usually very organised and now doing that with dad's stuff. Feel so weird and matter of fact about it all at the moment. Don't think I have fully accepted what has happened yet as so many visitors and phone calls. Haven't stopped making tea. Could do with some MOC's for tea, coffee, and milk! :rotfl:

Thinking of you Snowdrop. Hard to see the wood for the trees with decisions expected but here's a lovely cozy comforting quote from the inimitable Winnie the Pooh... just for you Snowdrop:

“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. i'll always be with you.”

How lovely, thank you so much for posting that. :A

Definitely haven't had a chance to think yet. Don't know whether I am on my ar5e or my head as my dad would have said.

Going through so much milk, tea and coffee just unbelievable, so many visitors and more due any minute now.

Congrats to your brother on his engagement and your DS on his apprenticeship. They are so hard to get these days and so good that he is enjoying it too.
