Afternoon everyone - trying to cope with withdrawal symptoms as trying to avoid Asda today - but don't know how long I can resist my urges!
Reductions seem to be coming to an end, visited 3 yesterday, nothing new and mostly sold out, was looking for Raggae Sauce, Bisto, Mrs Elswoods Picked Cucs and various other sauces, but all were marked at normal price and scanned at normal prices when I checked.
Now should I email or ring about my out of date Sept 11 Raspberry Delight, as the store tried to tell me It actually was "In Date, just the wrong date had been printed on the packet" ????

Just made some of the jam tarts using the asda sweet pastry for .30p.

Took them out of the oven and had to guard them till they cooled or would have been eaten hot by my DH and DS,:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Let them have 1 each now they have cooled a bit and they said they were great. Bet the plate is empty when I go back to the kitchen. btw, I made 13 out of 1 pack. I also used the Hartleys jam I got reduced on offer for .40p so cheap jam tarts.

I did wonder how it would taste as I haven't tried it yet. I'm hoping the strawberry jam is on offer as well as I don't like the apricot or blackcurrent:( I suppose I could pay full price with a wombled receipt if it isn't:D

    Hi Blue

The pastry was easy to use, I warmed it for 15 seconds on defrost in the microwave (as on the instructions) but found it was a bit hard still for rolling and it was better to knead the dough a little by hand and it was fine. Easy to use, quick, and tasted nice too.

Aesop is a boots expert;) If you spend over £5 you get a £5 off any No 7 Voucher, wonder if that can be used with the 300 points one. hmm good job I was waiting for a delivery and am sending your parcel today cos I can include the no 7 voucher I got with all my cold stuff, hopefully Aesop will advise later if it can be used with the points one
