Well done on the weight loss, maybe there is benefits to the dreaded lurgy as don't know about you but I'm not eating much.

Blue sore throat started Tues morning by evening had spread to nose/head then started having body aches/headaches just seemed to gradually spread had no energy just laid aound on the sofa. Felt alot better by Thursday afternoon energy seemed to return but for some lasted alot longer. Still hasn't completely gone been full of that yucky muccas stuff:o even now but don't feel ill like I did last week thank goodness. I did mean to go to Boots to speak to a pharmacist whether I should take a pick me up tonic before flying as my immune system probs low after illness and germs seem to spread when you fly but you have just reminded me of this drat hopefully will remember tomorrow when shopping.

Thanks PM, maybe you should make an appt to see the GP in case it is a chest infection to get it sorted out worth getting it checked.

Ah - you should ask this Doc - its free & cheaper:D



Sore throat : guggle salt water then don't rinse it.
Body aches : sit on massage chair!
Headaches : take 2 panadol extra 3 times a day.
yucky muccas stuff : drink hot water as much as you can

Total cost less than £2:p:p:p how much is NHS now? £7ish?:eek:

Me not have sore throat, just itchy throat & it could be hay fever nothing else. Always get it. Damn itchy middle of the night as well!

posted by Doc....I bake some cupcakes on Sunday morning. Late afternoon had a power trigger, yesterday tried to oven bake my half cooked fried chicks it just blow cold air:(:(:(:( anybody know whats wrong with the oven please.

Fan still working but no heat...element gone kapput Doc...easy to fit though, go to espares and they have a video you can watch on how to fit it yourself....

Not been around much as watching tennis....I'll be there this weekend....just back from hairdressers treated myself to highlights , had a manicure and eyebrows plucked too, am ready to ' hobnob' now....
Will try and catch up with all the posts later , sorry to hear some of you still not well...lunch to get now and then more tennis for me....Nadal and Murray are playing today( not each other)...think I will see either/both of them if I have worked out the playing schedule correctly( it's more complex than Wimbledon)
