Morning all, was sunny here half and hour ago, but now quite grey. Was hoping to get out in the garden for an hour or so, but doesn't look like now. :(

Never mind, will do some baking instead and hope I can persuade dad to eat something today. Now getting really worried he is getting dehydrated. He is eating and drinking so little. Not sure how little you can get away with before needing a drip to rehydrate him.

That doesn't sound good, could you maybe get some of the rehydration sachets they give to kids etc that you add to water, or maybe see if he would drink smoothie that could count as food and drink.

Hermes have a bad rep. Try one of the companies suggested on the thread.

Thanks Sis  I don't have time to go & read them all, just read the 1st & last 2 pages & I got bored:D. So I shall stick to Yodel. At least I know them/the delivery people, I get at least 1 or 2 delivery from them almost every month, delivered to my office.

sorry to hear about your Dad shopndrop.

If he manages to eat something, that will provide him a little hydration too.

Can you convince him to take small sips of water throughout the day or his favourite juice? At least you know he is drinking then?

Have you asked the Drs advice on how to get him to eat or drink without being dehyrdrated?

((((((((((((((((((SND)))))))))))))))))))) and for your partner and mum too.

Well me and the kids decided to have some fun this morning and we made some home made rolls with the wrights(shhhhh) ciabatta bread mix and they came out fantastic first one eat still warm with butter then we scoffed them for lunch and couple left to go with tuna bake tonight. I only ever picked up a couple of the mixes as don't have a bread machine but these came out fab by hand and would def. use again.

Thanks for all the concern over my Asda fall.

Dr. Who-Who RE: DM code Will offer it by PM in future.

SHOPNDROP... Open tins of fruit and place them in a bowl by your father's side... that usually works.
