Good morning everyone a nice sunny day here today.
  • Hi I just had a question about wombling I hope someone here can help... If you find several receipts with available coupons, like you have CW - can you take them to the till at once? some receipts must have the same shopping date on them, would they not get funny?
    Good morning fellow drivellers

    Hope everyone is well.

Keep wombling folks. My DS went wombling yesterday and got 52 receipts, 26 were worthless, but the other 26 gave me £53.35 to spend in asda.:j:j:j:j

Best tip for wombling, go when its windy and follow the direction the wind blows. All the receipts will tend to gather in one spot. Then check the trolley bays. Have a mobile phone with you and if anyone looks at your and wonders what your doing, just pretend to talk into the phone.

    Good luck everyone

Magnums on offer in T's for £1, got 5 and used the £1 from the Price drop leaflet..80p a pack , even better.( would have got more , but no room in freezer)
If anyone has the SSM Pantene /Head and Shoulders Mocs, in the travel section of toiletries you can get 5 for £4, so if you have 4 mocs they are free,(note: they are only the small travel size bottles), I got 3 and another Stergene Travel Wash and a Simple Face wash, paid £1 cash for all 5...got another 2 small bottles of Lenor ( 500ml) for free with SSM mocs today as well....def don't want to pay any cash towards the bigger bottles as have got all that Comfort we got when there was the T's £1 off £5 household, and we had 75p mocs a while back..I know we can't move for stuff , but have to really try and make room for free stuff , don't we?

    We do indeed :)

Anyone know what day Asda change their prices. *sulks* Did my list on Friday night, did my shop on Saturday, huff checked this morning and some prices have changed.

am sure that Blue and MT have said that Asda have funny price change days, not set like sainsbobs and Ts.

you could have shopped at the same store at different times. I sometimes go back to my local sainsbobs twice in one day if I have forgotten something, or are short of something.

It hasn't been a problem so far, but if your concerned just give them a few and check all the dates are different. Some of the receipts my DS got yesterday were a week or so old. So just give them different dates and you shouldn't have any worried.

Also split your shop into 2 for example and then you can use apg's of the same date without any worried.

I usually split my shop as Asda's tills are set to call a supervisor over if you use more than 5 coupons.

    Good luck wombling.

I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
