Morning all, lovely here too, been lovely all weekend.

Not baking yet...... have a breadmaker and mixes....

Did front garden yesterday, swept it and dug up a weed bush and tidied the beds, have to tackle the back garden today... not looking forward to that.

jeferey that is so lovely about the FBs. It will be nice if you can keep i touch.

DS if feeling much better although he came to sleep in my bed this morning. But chatting away, asked for breakfast, and talked about his tent that we had up inside yesterday. So think he is ok now.

Morning all...lovely news jeferey and hope your DS gets well again soon Aesop, you have had such a tough time with ill health of late, you deserve a break from it...maybe the weather will improve things, lots of fresh air and sunshine...
T's have ciabatta @75p and the whole grain at 85p , so get both and they are both free....
Decided after reading about BM's to get my down from the loft and try it again...problem was, it wasn't there!!! It was in the corner cupboard( you know the one in a fitted kitchen that is neither use nor ornament, with a swing out thingy and space under that is just used to store stuff you never use !!)Opened it up took out the measuring cup, put the blade in , poured in the breadmix and water, switched it on and it made a funny whirring noise, gurgled and grunted , then grunted again and then gurgled, but it never got going......hubby came in and decided to investigate....obvious to him I had done it all wrong !!!took the pan out , put it back in , switched it on again...same grunting noises...decided to throw the BM in the bin...emptied all the gooey breadmix out and saw the plastic spoon measuring thing was wedged in it....so that's why it wouldn't work, that was stopping it turning....doh!!
It's on now with a whole grain mix, read instructions on pack and it suggested 'up to 3 hours' only work best...used to always do the 4 hour version...so opted for that, also changed to 'light' and not 'medium' colour...so will see what happens ...did find 6 packs in the top cupboard , 3 were best before Oct 2010!!!but am using one I got on Saturday as will be a better test if use a fresher product.....will report on it at 1pm when it will be either in the bin or accompanying a tin of free Campbells tomato soup.
