Whole frozen salmon £3 or £1.65 if you are lucky!

Hi there.
Popped into Asda Castlepoint in Bournemouth and they had frozen whole salmon (just under a kilo in weight) with a SEL of £3. Picked up the last one in the freezer and when I got to the check out it scanned at £1.65!:T

So I decided to try Asda Bournemouth Interchange today to see if the had any left and managed to get 3 for £3 each.

Its worth checking out your local Asda to see if they have the offer as its a great bargain-I know what we are having for Easter lunch with the family now!

WOW that's amazing. I got a whole fresh Scottish salmon at Sainsbury's fish counter for 14.27 and I thought I'd done well.

I had a good run of salmon bargains last Easter. Tesco were doing half price whole salmon and I went to a store in an area where there were mostly small retirement flats, so very few large fish had sold. When I went in at about 4.30/5pm, there were inevitably huge salmon reduced again by half. I bought 2 absolutely huge ones (that were dragging on the ground as I lifted tham into the trolley, lol) for less than £20. If they do the same offer this year, pop in late afternoon and see if you are lucky.

We had one at Easter and the biggest was the centrepiece at our Royal wedding party:) yum yum!
