I don't know anything about your particular competition, but I've seen tv programmes in the past where people win prizes like this and then buying the photos is not included in the prize and they're very expensive and there's a lot of bullying done to make you buy them.

I don't want to deflate you too much, but I think you should look into it a little more - maybe try googling for more information on the company?

Sorry, I really do hope it's not a scam.

I guess the answer to that depends on if they are going to ask you to pay for anything. For example, it's not much good if they do a free photoshoot and then ask you to pay a small fortune for the photos. Maybe check things like that with them when they call :)

I think with this you get the makeover and the photo shoot but have to pay for the photos

Id be very wary of this but when the chap rings back tomorrow ask him what it includes? Well done anyway!

If they ask you to pay upfront a booking fee (in case you don't turn up) its a pretty good indicator that its not really a win, but a come on to spend £100s on the photos they take.

Yes I agree with the others, make sure you are told EVERYTHING before agreeing to accept the prize

It's probably a scam. There was a similar recent thread on here. One of my friends took her 15 month old son to one of these photo shoots. She enjoyed the makeover and having the pictures taken. When this was over they sat in her a room alone for ages with a projector and screen to show the photos and then subjected her to a hard sell approach and she ended up spending £360 pounds on a CD! When she wanted to copy the images she had to write to the company to get a copyright form too.

I hope that its a proper prize but please confirm every detail with them
