Also there was a conditional spend voucher - i think it was the Mail £5 wys £25 - that was Thursday but I think there is going to be another one, best to check the newspaper thread.

So you could get three lots plus a small item to take it over the £25 mark (this could be your newspaper) and your spend would be £20. Probaly quite good value

I expect quite a lot of this selection would freeze nicely.

At £6 a go, I make it 4 lots plus a small item at £1.

I think next voucher is in Mail on Sunday tomorrow.

Yes, I make it 4 as well. We got the chicken kiev with garlic butter inside and it was lush. Still have to have the potato crouqettes and the rice pudding, but they also look good, so living in anticipation here.:j

;) Felines are my favourite ;)

Would appreciate your opinion of rice pudding when you have it. I almost took it and then plumped for NY cheesecake.

The Mushroom En Croute sounds lovely, wouldn't mind knowing what you thought of it.

OH back home today, so had the meal deal tonight for dinner.

The Mushroom-En-Croute was quite tasty, very homemade looking and a nice tasty packed filling. I am sure I could recreate this at a fraction of the cost at home, will certainly have a go. Had with the Potato Crouquettes (which we have had before), I am not keen on these but OH likes them.

Have cooked the Apple Lattice Tart for dessert. Packed with apples and looks very tasty, looking forward to it. Having a break after overdoing it on the main.

Probably wouldn't normally spend £6.00 on these type of things, but as a treat once in a while.

Sounds nice Turkishdreamer. Thanks for the info. Was in M&S when the deal was on but couldn't see the Mushroom-En-Croute.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

I saw this deal last week, but i thought it was just the chicken and meat type pies that were included, neither of which i like.
Good to see it imcludes the chicken kiev and the musroom en croute,- both of which i. buy regularly.:)
On the subject of meal deals, does anyone know if there will be a mothers day meal deal this weekend, and how much it will cost.?
