Satmetrix surveyed 1200 shoppers and asked them to say which supermarkets they were loyal to. Waitrose was 1st, Aldi 2nd

Do you agree or disagree with the findings ? Which supermarket is your favourite and why ? What do you think of other supermarkets ? Are there any you won't use now and why ?
So here's mine:
Findings seem reasonable to me although I thought M&S would be much higher.
Favourite supermarket (store) Lidl - cheap fresh veg good quality, quirky non-food offers, great pre-packed deli stuff, unusual food
Favourite suoermarket (internet) Waitrose -excellent service, excellent quality, some good deals and improving on this
Tesco -rip-off merchants but local store staff lovely, don't go to big one
ASDA - like them but my local store has gone all ready meals and prepacked mixed veg - not what I want, not going there
Sainsbury's - seems in need of a re-vamp, staff polite, seems expensive but not as good as Waitrose
Aldi - crowded any time I go, till operators sling stuff at you, not as good as Lidl
Co-op - ethical, good quality, used a lot when store nearer, staff polite
Iceland - used for internet delivery when they did it,products
can be excellent or terrible, staff lovely
Morrisons - great fish and meat, friendly staff, fewer screaming kids than ASDA, veg cheap but small

The link isn't working for me, just goes to a virgin media page
I love Aldi and on a whole agree that the stores are very busy but I'm quite lucky because my local one seems to have escaped the business. I've been there at numerous times of the day and have had no problem. It's always well stocked and the staff are lovely, the one I used to go to had lovely staff but was always low on certain stock such as ham, salads and tinned tomatoes.
I've only recently started shopping at Lidl and have to say it's got some good branded offers but the layout of the store is terrible, I end up going around so many times just to find what I want. It's not as cheap as aldi but I love the half price deals they do and their sandwich meat is very well priced.
I love Sainsburys, the quality of their basics food is brilliant and love their basics fish fingers (YUM!). The layout of my local one is quite confusing compared to the one where I used to live but I'm getting used to it. Has some good offers but I'd rather pay their prices because it's much nicer than Tesco or Asda.
Asda... Oh don't get me started. They seem to employ a large amount of snotty teenagers who haven't discovered manners. I'm not keen on their basics products and they're generally lower quality than Sainsburys. They do some good offers which are worth grabbing.
Tesco, not a fan due to the way they treat their staff and feel the quality isn't very good at all. Worth grabbing the offers they have on cereal now and again though.
Co-op, ethical but overpriced. Good for the offers and always seem to have friendly staff. I like the local breads they stock.
Morrisons, cheap and good offers but I don't have one near meWould probably be my every other week shop if there was one local.
Waitrose, never shopped there! Always wish to but there's not one local. Am going to do an online shop seeing as they have the £10 off offer soon so will see how that goes.0 -
