Scottish Power and Eaga Partnership are still giving away 4 free energy saving light bulbs if you get any of these benefits:
Income Support
Housing Benefit
Council Tax Benefit
Income based Jobseekers Allowance
Attendance Allowance
Industrial Injuries Disablement Pension Benefit (must include Constant Attendance Allowance)
War Disablement Pension (must include mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)
Pension Credit
Child Tax Credit (where your income is £14,600 or less)
Working Tax Credit (where your income is £14,600 or less)
Just ring 0844 8000 444 and quote reference RFINSERT and which benefit you get.
They give 4 energy saving bulbs (worth ca. £40). Made in PRC.
On the box it says 6 years. However, I know that for some people some of them broke down just after a few months (the Scottish Power agreed to send a replacement, though).
Do not call them if you ordered them last year. They would refuse to send them again even if you order them for another entitled person, but living at the same address, as person who applied before.
The offer is available for the whole UK.
