I'm currently self-employed but also signed up with an agency to do work when I'm not busy.
I have got work with another agency aswell now but dont want to tell the original agency that i dont want any more work so if i keep with both agencies and keep self-employed how will that effect my tax ie paye.
Will i get emergency taxed ?

Complete a P46 for the new agency checking box "C - I have another job or receive a pension"
Tax across the three will be based on the cumulative earnings. On the basis you are doing self assessments any slight glitches will come out when you do the returns.0 -
In short, you will be taxed at basic rate on the entire earnings of both agencies. As mentioned above, come self assessment time it'll be sorted out and the tax you pay through PAYE offset against your S/E and a bill or refund sent accordingly.0
