Posted this a month ago on HUKD but there was patchy stock, looks like they have
restocked in a lot of shops.

It really is a good set of knives and the price in no way reflects what you get.

Argos state 10 year guarantee, but it comes with a 15 year one.

Ans some Japanese styled knives knives not stated in the Argos description

Yes these aren't a set of globals, but seems like a good price
for a set of basic knives, mostly good reviews on the Argos site.


Its actually the Richardson Sheffield 'Gourmet' Knife block.
and contains Pairing knife, all purpose knife, boning knife,13,5cm santoku knife,
17.5cm santoku knife, cooks knife, carving knife, bread knife and a carving fork
ans scissors.

Also comes with a 15 year guarantee, not 10 as stated on the Argos site.

Thanks for the posting. Nearly got this http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.215-2844.aspx from Tesco yesterday. It was reduced to £20 from £40. Now I think I'll go for the argos one.
