  • Hi Amara and all,

Thanks for running another challenge before your little one arrives. I'm a bit late signing up I'm afraid. I will be checking in here daily this time around as that is the only thing that keeps me focused and on track.

Can you put me down for £1000 this time around please. Feeling very optimistic about this one :T

    Hi Amara,

Can you revise my target to £937.05 please? That will bring the last c/c down to the next 000.

With that in mind I have made a payment today of £163

    So total so far £163/£937.05

    Thank you

Off to a very bad start on this and have to revise my total to 1337.80.
Hopefully some money for selling old gadgets will come through by the end of this week and pull it back a bit.

Unexpected things having to be paid is total murder! :(

    Hi Amara...

    Can i join in too?

I am on a DMP (no interest being charged on remaining debts) so I cannot pay off individual debts - rather they prefer you to pay a lump sum which they then split pro-rata between creditors. I currently pay £100 per month already. So - have amended this post. Instead of my original target I am aiming for the following:

I have one debt to an ex partner which I have had for nearly 10 years and whilst he said i could take forever to pay it - and to be honest - i think he doesn't expect to get it back - it is awkward when i see him in the street... and it hangs over my head. I feel bad I owe it as he helped me out when we were together and karmically i want to pay him back!!! I owe £750 - but as I have other commitments financially over the next few months, am going to just try and save £250.00 this 100 days.

I have an e-account where I will save it - and am going to make a payment of £30.00 today:

    £30/£250

Am really going to try and clear this - has been hanging around my neck for years!!! Will feel great to be rid of it... If I can use this thread to save in £250 increments I hope to be able to give him a cheque for the full amount as a surprise on his birthday in December this year.

    Good luck everyone!!! :D
