frozen pension

hi, three years ago i worked for tesco and paid into there pension for 15 years this pension is now frozen. i now work for the nhs and have paid into there pension for the last 2 years and i still pay into this.my question is what do i do about my frozen pension. i am 43 years old if that has any relevance.


any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    It is highly unlikely it is frozen. More likely it is deferred if it is the final salary scheme.

    Why do you think you need to do anything with it?

    Its not frozen and it will still provide you benefits on retirement. You cant transfer it to the NHS scheme (and it probably wouldnt be worth it if you could).

    Get a copy of your leaving service statement/letter from Tesco pensions admin. It should have on it how the pension increases in deferment.

    You might also check:

    a) they have your current address, and;

    b) whether the revaluation rate has changed to CPI from RPI
