Job offer but in total turmoil

Hello
I have been offered a fairly good job, after being out of the job market for a while. It's 16 hrs but over 3 days. 10-3.30 and then 10-4.30. It's an hour's drive away or hour and a half on train.
I am trying to work it all out so that I use least amount of childcare. We only have one car. My hubby's job flexible and they said he can do a back or late shift. However, with nursery/school drop offs and pick ups, it is a logistical nightmare. Have spent a week now eating myself up every day trying to work it all out. Youngest child abandoned to TV as trying to work it every which way. Do you think someone is trying to tell me something that this is just too flipping hard until my youngest is in school (2 1/2 years time)? I want to work as going off my nut here. Easiest solution is to put her in nursery 3 whole days but when you get paid 5 hours yet have to use 10 hours nursery, it seems ridiculous.
help!!!!!!!!!!

Been there! My only suggestions are -in this scenario we found a person in the house was more economical especially if you are able to use childcare vouchers to reduce the cost other wise a childminder who is more flexible and nearby. Getting to the job/your husbands work? We have a very cheap car £500 which costs £125 to insure that only goes to the station or short distances? Good Luck. To be honest when they are pre school it is always difficult and you can always talk yourself out of it . I struggled while they were small to work -sometimes probably being a pretty bad employee as I was tired but it was worth it .0
