I have just made the dough in my broken breadmaker (can't cook in it as it wobbled off the work service and broke a few years ago, since then i have always made cobs).
I decided to do a 2lb loaf and i have just put the dough in my loaf tin, waiting for it to rise and i have realised i haven't a clue how long to bake it for or which gas mark...
Can anyone help me?

I cook my loaves on gas mark 8. having said that, i do a 2 pound dough divided between 2 1lb bread tins, so i would either move the shelves down the oven or drop it to gas mark 7, (or both) or you risk burning your 2lb loaf on top.
HTH - let us know how it turned out!
