I've also successfully gone down the REMO route so it can be done. My case was slightly different because my consent order was issued through the county court and I had to swear an affidavit. I prepared most of it myself but had a 1 hr appointment with the firm that handled my divorce and they drafted the final version. The staff at my local court were fantastic and it was very much a learning curve for them too, they'd never heard of REMO.

When the judge agreed that my order could be sent to REMO and onto America he issued an arrears certificate for the months my ex didn't pay. It took a further 4 months before regular payments were collected from his pay and another month before they started collecting arrears.
