First debt repayment of the year paid. Loan updated from £943 to £901 and signature updated.0 -
New year, same story. I will continue to pay off my debt and continue with my savings.
Payment made to the double glazing with £10 overpayment.

Next payday I will call and reduce my overdraft by a bit.

Well...
I have been signed off work for a couple of weeks. Feel like rubbish and now I am stressed about the overtime I'll miss.
Obviously my health is important but I can't help but worry.
I have put £10 into my savings account.
I might have to use part of my savings next month but hopefully the bit of money I have left from this months wage will tie me over.0 -
Trying to use my time off work towards productive things.
I have got a couple of things for eb*y.
I have went through all my paperwork, happily realised my loan finishes next year. I think at the end of this year my overdraft will be gone and I could try to pay my loan off a few months early
That would free up £75 a month between the two debts being paid off.
To do list -
Sort out home insurance as renewal due.
Sort out boiler cover as renewal due.
Check over my bank account and budget.
Phone virgin media and try to get a better deal.0 -
Home insurance - Saving of £60 a year.
Boiler cover - Saving of £48 a year on my cover plus also been given a 4% discount on my gas and electric.
Virgin Media - Saving of £120 a year.
Total of £228 a year

I have transferred the last £45 to make my January savings target.
It is 12 days until payday. I have enough money in my bank account to last until then but I am a bit worried about my wage. The bright side is that I can dip into my savings if I need to.
