Another £10 paid to my savings account. I'm hoping to make it up to £550 over the month.

Next payday I will call and reduce my overdraft by a bit.

I had planned saving up and paying off the overdraft but I like the security of having a bit of savings behind me.
  • Well...

I have been signed off work for a couple of weeks. Feel like rubbish and now I am stressed about the overtime I'll miss.

Obviously my health is important but I can't help but worry.

I have put £10 into my savings account.

I might have to use part of my savings next month but hopefully the bit of money I have left from this months wage will tie me over.

Trying to use my time off work towards productive things.

I have got a couple of things for eb*y.

I have went through all my paperwork, happily realised my loan finishes next year. I think at the end of this year my overdraft will be gone and I could try to pay my loan off a few months early :) That would free up £75 a month between the two debts being paid off.

    To do list -

Sort out home insurance as renewal due.

Sort out boiler cover as renewal due.

Check over my bank account and budget.

Phone virgin media and try to get a better deal.
  • Home insurance - Saving of £60 a year.

Boiler cover - Saving of £48 a year on my cover plus also been given a 4% discount on my gas and electric.

Virgin Media - Saving of £120 a year.

    Total of £228 a year :)
  • Another little addition to my savings account, balance now £505.
  • I have transferred the last £45 to make my January savings target.

It is 12 days until payday. I have enough money in my bank account to last until then but I am a bit worried about my wage. The bright side is that I can dip into my savings if I need to.

Claimed £10 amazon voucher from my nectar points.
