Perhaps the motgage lenders should be more dilligent in checking that they are represented correctly by the FSA. Many deals have an initial shine that fades to SVR. Many lenders SVR rates are for inert borrowers. A keen borrower would remortgage when it makes financial sense after researching all options and costs.
