The main problem about securing the debts into your home is that it's likely you will run up card debts again, despite your good intensions to pay down all debts from it, you said it yourself cards are easy to get, and there is always the tendency to keep your current ones with maybe high limits on them. Please look at the debt with the highest rate of interest and make small over payments towards it, maybe as I said a fiver a week instead of that takeaway , you could clear it surprisingly quick.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Hi ron,
Yes you are correct. As things stand currently you can "walk away" from your unsecured debts via an IVA or BR and keep your home.
If you were to add them onto your mortgage this would no longer be an option.
Again, I agree with taffy056. There wil always be the temptation there to run up the credit card debts again at which point you will be in the exact same position you are now but with a larger mortgage.0 -
I would keep on the 0% cards at least that way every payment you make counts towards reducing the balance. Once you get to the end of the offer shop around for another 0% offer.
To stop me spending unnecessarily I always talk to myself. Now then to buy this I would have to work 4 hours to pay for it. Wow, really??? I'll not bother then. It really works and makes you think twice.0
